With the utter dearth of rp activity here, I will be moving most of my blogging activity over to my personal blog, @thebarefootking. That’s where my likes will be coming from, and if you want to reach me, that’s the fastest way.
I’ll still drop by here now and again, but until I find some new partners I can be more active with, consider this a half-hiatus. Still present, still answering asks, but this blog is on the back burner until further notice.
Concept: magical girl series that initially looks like it’s going to take a grim twist, with the whole team getting brutally (but bloodlessly) massacred in their very first monster fight – but then the team leader wakes up the next morning perfectly fine and is like “dude, what the FUCK”.
Whereupon the cute animal sidekick is like: “Oh, when you ‘transform’ we transport your human body to the astral plane and replace it with a magical construct that your mind operates remotely. You were never in any real danger – didn’t you read the orientation manual?”
Our hero is obliged to admit that she did not, in fact, read the orientation manual.
After taking a moment to process, the protagonist asks the question that’s surely on every viewer’s mind: “If my powered up form is a drone, does that mean I can customise it?”
The rest of the series is basically a lighthearted combination of recurring fashion montages with increasingly outlandish customised bodies and the team abusing their conditional immortality to do stupid hold-my-beer stunts while the animal sidekick frets about the budget.
I love this but it needs at least one more gimmick to keep a whole 12 episodes going
There’s an arc where the team starts running out of energy to transform and the cute animal sidekick scolds them for being so profligate, but it eventually turns out that their budget is fine and the real reason for the shortfall is that the animal sidekick has been committing embezzlement. The reveal segues into a recurring educational segment about various types of white-collar crime.

I’m once again taking part in the Ration Challenge to help raise money for displaced families and individuals living in refugee camps in Jordan, having been forced to flee their war torn countries.
I’ll be living on the same rations as a Syrian refugee for a week to highlight the struggles and the strength of these incredibly strong people. A week out of my schedule is nothing compared to the every day, uphill battles that these families are facing.

What is the favourite food of your muse? Do they prefer sweet or savory snacks? Do they care at all about the taste and quality of their food or is it more of a necessity to them?

I don’t know if they are Dantalion’s favorites, necessarily, but he does favor fresh fruit and also marzipan. Given the choice between sweet and savory, he will usually go for sweets, but he likes both quite a lot. He’s a snacker!
Dantalion doesn’t need to eat physical food, but neither is he overly stuck on only eating high-quality foods. He will eat just about anything put in front of him. Certainly he will say he has preferences for fine foods, and he might do, but it doesn’t stop him partaking of garbage, sometimes literally. He’s actually something of a compulsive eater, and uses eating as a self-stimulatory behavior. In at least one instance that I know of, he self-soothed during a tense situation by consuming broken glass.

like for real. the worst day of menstruation of my life. for people who know their menstrual cycle and haven’t gotten a vaccine yet, book it around your cycle if at all possible omg.
I got my first shot a week ago and the lead-up to my period was very strange. Normally I start getting cramps about half a day before I start bleeding, but I had that pre-period crampy feeling for three days this time followed by a pretty heavy period. I was pretty concerned until I realized it might have something to do with having just gotten the vaccine. I’m definitely pleased to see they’ve started collecting data about it.
If you have room to maneuver when scheduling your shot definitely keep your cycle in mind.

If you read the article it has nothing to do with hormones but thinning platelets. It seems like people were not actually reading the article.
I fell down a research rabbit hole and somehow ended up reading on the Catholic dogma of virginitas in partu, and some of the specifics left me with a HELL of a lot of questions.
